Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this stunning 1971 Triumph TR6 which comes with the very sought after options of Overdrive Transmission and Hardtop. Overdrive works as it should on this TR6 and really increases the driving experience especially on longer drives or highway driving. This TR6 is in beautiful overall condition and is an older frame off restoration and driven sparingly over the years since the restoration. This TR6 has been nicely maintained over the years with numerous restoration receipts and a handwritten journal of older work performed. This TR6 features gorgeous repaint in Laurel green, A terrific restored Beige interior, Overdrive transmission, Hardtop, and many service records. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Laurel Green exterior over Beige interior. The low actual miles of 86,213 are marked on the Ohio title pictured above as “Actual”, and mileage accounts are on several of the included receipts and service records.

Exterior

The Green exterior is in excellent restored condition. This TR6 was originally Red and several body panels were replaced with NOS items and the car was fully disassembled during the restoration. This TR6 received a professional repaint in Laurel Green and was completed to a high level and is in terrific condition. The car has been driven sparingly since the repaint so the paintwork is still fresh. The paint is in stunning condition and has a deep shine and smooth touch. The body is very solid and the gaps and lines are good on this car. There is no bubbling paint anywhere on this car and no signs of corrosion or rust anywhere on this TR6. The hardtop is in great condition and the hardtop paint is in the same condition as the body of this TR6, they were painted at the same time. The hardtop was fully restored and a receipt for the hardtop restoration is include at almost $2000. The tan top cover is in good shape and comes with the car. The underside of this TR6 is very solid as well with no visible rust or corrosion. The frame was removed and dipped years ago and has held up well. Both bumpers are in great condition and the chrome is shiny. The red line tires have nearly full tread left and were installed about a year ago. The OEM wheels are in near perfect condition and were powder coated recently. The Robbins soft convertible top is new and has never been installed and the frame was fully restored. All weather stripping and seals are in like new condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with spare tire, correct trunk mat, jack tools, and replaced trunk surround pieces.

Interior

The Beige interior of this TR6 is in fantastic restored condition. The interior was originally black so it was completely restored to Tan with new parts. The seat covers have been replaced and are in like new condition with no noticeable wear and the seat foam was replaced too. The carpet was replaced and is in excellent condition with no major wear, stains, or holes. The newer door panels are in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The wood dash surround is in excellent condition and looks great in the car, and the gauges are clear and like new. Original style speakers look great in the original kidney panels. The gauges all work and are clear and crisp, the wipers and lights work too. The horn works as well and the horns were replaced. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This TR6 is in excellent mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. The original drive line is still in this TR6 with only 86,213 actual miles. The Overdrive works properly and its a great feature to have on these cars and can be seen working in the driving video. This TR6 performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. This TR6 has been loved and very well maintained over the years and comes with numerous receipts and service records. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. The clutch slave cylinder was replaced and the car shifts well. Fuel pump was rebuilt and overdrive solenoid was replaced. Fuel tank was drained and cleaned. Carbs were rebuilt with OEM kit. The factory style exhaust sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. The rear differential operates properly and there is no clunking while driving and the supports were replaced. Battery was replaced. Also, the engine is exceptionally clean and professionally detailed as one can see from the photos.
