This LTD is very original with just wear items which have been replaced over the years. This LTD has been meticulously cared for and maintained over the years by loving owners. The mileage is “Actual” not only by the Ohio title branding the mileage as Actual but also by the incredible original overall condition of this fine convertible. This LTD features believed to be mostly original paint, a terrific original interior, the original 400 engine and automatic transmission, and several dealer documents and owners manual. This convertible has factory air conditioning which is in working condition and blows cold. This LTD is solid with great lines and gaps and the frame and underneath is solid too. This LTD was dealer Ziebarted and that rustproofing has preserved this convertible and kept it from rusting away. This LTD is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Red exterior over White interior. This is the correct factory color scheme.

Exterior

The Burgundy exterior is in beautiful believed to be original condition. This LTD is believed to have original paint and trim, emblems, and bumpers. The paint looks great for its age and is smooth to the touch and has a nice gloss and shine. This LTD is very solid. The original floor pans and frame rails are rust free. The underside is very honest and in excellent shape. This LTD was Ziebarted when new and that rust proofing has saved this car from rusting out. The Ziebart treatment is evidenced by the yellow plugs throughout the car and the heavy undercoating on the underside of this car. The original bumpers are in excellent condition and have great chrome and the bumpers have no pitting or dents and no major scratches and shine extremely well for being unrestored originals. The tires have good tread left and the wheels are unrestored originals with original caps which are in excellent condition. The original top is in great condition for its age but does have a small repair on the passenger bottom corner. The top cover is in excellent condition as well and is original. All weather stripping and seals are in great condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original trunk mat, spare tire, and original jack and tools. All glass is original and all are in excellent shape.

Interior

The White interior of this LTD is in super nice unrestored original condition. The original seat covers are in overall excellent condition and are comfortable to sit on. The original black carpet is in good condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original door panels are in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The original dash is in excellent condition with no cracks or fading and no warping. The original steering wheel looks great in the car. The gauges are crisp and clean and the chrome around them is in excellent shape. The interior lights all work and are bright and crisp. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should outside of the clock. The door buzzer still works properly and the inside under dash lights work. The horn, wipers, blower motor, heater, radio, cigarette lighter, and AC all work. This LTD has an original style stereo that works and the light inside the stereo works too. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. The glovebox light works and the original LTD manual is located inside.

Mechanical

This LTD is in excellent mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. Its very nice to see a convertible with factory air conditioning and much better when it actually blows cold air and works properly with the blower motor working on all speeds. The engine and transmission are both original to the car and appear to have never been removed from the car. It is very factory correct and appears unmolested as is the rest of the car. We have driven this LTD numerous times and it rides tight with no odd noises or rattles as you would expect from a low mile original car. It performs very well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. The previous owners of this fantastic LTD kept meticulous care of the car to keep it in this amazing running condition. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs very well. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. The brakes do not pull and stop very well. This LTD has newer exhaust. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The engine appears factory correct and stock in appearance and unmolested.
