Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this stunning 1976 Triumph TR6 which comes with the very sought after factory options of Overdrive Transmission and Hardtop. Factory Overdrive works as it should on this TR6 and really increases the driving experience especially on longer drives or highway driving. This TR6 is in beautiful overall condition and is a Factory paint code “75” British Racing Green TR6 with very low actual miles of 60,997. This TR6 has been nicely maintained over the years with 2 folders full of restoration receipts and service records dating back to 1977. This TR6 also comes with a folder full of dealer documents, brochures, and pamphlets from when the car was sold new at Troncalli Motors in Decatur Georgia to its the 1st owner who kept the car until 1997. The vehicle total was $7187.00 on 9-27-1976, and this includes the J-type overdrive transmission, the factory hardtop, and $185.00 for the AM/FM MPX radio which still works in this car today. This TR6 features all original BRG paint and sheet metal, A Restored interior in Factory Beige, Factory Overdrive, Factory Hardtop, and several performance upgrades. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of BRG (code 75) exterior over Beige (code 74) interior. This is the factory color combination as verified on the commission plate pictured above. The low actual miles of 60,997 are branded on the Ohio title pictured above as “Actual”, and mileage accounts are on several of the receipts and service records included.
Exterior
The Green exterior is in excellent original condition. This TR6 has all original paint and original sheet metal and is believed to never have had any paint or body work performed on car. The paint is in very nice condition especially for its age but does have some expected patina and blemishes for being original. The body is very solid and the gaps and lines are terrific on this car. There is no bubbling paint anywhere on this car and no signs of corrosion or rust anywhere on this TR6. The silver stripping and luggage rack were dealer add ons and really compliment this TR6. The factory hardtop is in excellent condition and the paint is original on the hardtop as well and in similar condition to the body paint. The hardtop headliner and trim are all in good condition and the hardtop mounting hardware comes with the car. The underside is very solid as well with no visible rust or corrosion. Factory red underside primer is evident throughout the undercarriage on this TR6. It is both rare and a welcomed site to see all the factory red primer and solid metal underneath this fine TR6. Both bumpers are in great condition and the chrome is shiny. The tires are like new and have nearly full tread left and are sized 185 SR 15 and the Silverstone American Racing wheels are in near perfect condition with center caps and new lug nuts. The Black Canvas Soft Convertible top is like new and in excellent condition and works as it should. All weather stripping and seals are in like new condition and have been replaced. Trunk is very solid and clean with spare tire, jack tools, and correct original trunk carpet surround. All glass including the hardtop is original Triplex glass and in excellent condition.
Interior
The Beige interior of this TR6 is in terrific restored condition. The seat covers have been replaced and are in excellent overall condition and the seat foams are newer as are the diaphragms. The seats are very comfortable and soft. The carpet was replaced and in excellent condition with no major wear, stains, or holes. The door panels are in excellent condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The wood dash surround is newer and in excellent condition and looks great in the car. Evidence of chrome is seen around the circle dash vents, which is usually only seen on lower mile examples. The original two prong stereo works well and the original speakers sound good in the original kidney panels. The gauges all work and are clear and crisp. The wipers, blower motor, and all lights work. The horn is currently not working. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This TR6 is in excellent mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. This TR6 has been treated to several performance upgrades over the last few years and is a true pleasure to drive especially with the top down rowing through the gears. This is a factory Overdrive car and the overdrive works properly and it a great feature to have on these cars.

This TR6 performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. This TR6 is an excellent driver which has substantial power improvement and increased handling over stock counterparts. This TR6 has been loved and very well maintained over the years and comes with 2 folders full of receipts and service records dating from 1977 to current. The brakes were recently serviced and they do not pull and stop as they should. The clutch slave cylinder was replaced and the car shifts smoothly without issue. The exhaust has been upgraded to a performance exhaust system and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. The Nissan rear differential has been fully rebuilt and new bushings were installed. New air filters, new spark plug wires, and new fuel lines, have all been recently installed. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The engine bay was professionally restored and detailed about 10 years ago and well maintained since.
