This Mustang features a wonderful repaint in the Factory Black and Gold Cobra II paint scheme, an original Black vinyl interior, and a rebuilt 302 Engine and factory 4 speed transmission. This Mustang is finished in the most sought after color combination of Black and Gold over Black vinyl interior.

Exterior

The Black and Gold Cobra II exterior is in superb overall condition. This Mustang was treated to a professional repaint years ago but still has a fantastic finish, shine and a smooth gloss. The paint is in great overall condition and the Cobra II package really sets this Mustang apart from the others. The gaps and lines are excellent on this car and the doors shut perfectly with ease. There is zero rust on this car and no bubbling or cracked paint. The underside is also rust free and in excellent condition. Both bumpers are in great shape with no flaking or faded paint. The BF Goodrich tires are newer with nearly full tread left and the American Racing wheels are in fantastic shape with no curb rash. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in good original condition. The hatch works as it should and the struts hold up the hatch easily. All glass is in excellent condition.

Interior

The Black vinyl interior of this Mustang is mostly original and in great overall condition. The seat covers are original and in good overall condition with no excessive wear, rips or fading. The carpet is in great condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in superb condition with no cracks, no warping, and no fading. The am/fm cassette stereo sounds great. The door panels are in great condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in great overall shape and not falling down. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should including the overhead light. The stereo, wipers, and blower motor on all speeds works. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.

Mechanical

This Mustang is in excellent mechanical condition and runs and drives very nicely. The 302 engine has been rebuilt and runs very strong. Several parts have been upgraded including a new Holley street avenger carb., a new Weiland Intake, Headman Headers, and Edelbrock cylinder Heads. The Rack and Pinion steering has been completely rebuilt and works great, the clutch has been completely rebuilt as well together at a cost of over $1800. A full wiring harness has been installed at nearly $1400. A Ford 9″ rear axle was installed with 3.50 rear gears. Coilover rear shocks were added and are fully adjustable. This Mustang has been upgraded from 4 Lug wheels to 5 Lug wheels. Service records and several receipts come with the car. New belts and hoses were added and the radiator was flushed. New coil, ignition module, spark plug wires, and spark plugs were installed. True dual exhaust with Headman headers was installed. The brakes were recently serviced and stop very well and do not pull to either side while stopping. The emergency brake works as it should and holds the car properly. We have driven this car numerous times and it always performs well, it does not run hot, it rides tight, and is always a joy to drive. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs very well. This Mustang is an excellent driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs great. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos.
