Cincy Classic Cars is very proud to offer this stunning fully restored 1975 Triumph TR6 which is beautiful overall condition with low actual miles of 78,322. This TR6 was fully dissembled prior to a full frame on restoration, see included tear down photos and numerous receipts totaling thousands of dollars. The build is fully documented with a inch thick folder full of nearly 100 receipts and proof totaling thousands and thousands of dollars. Approximately 1000 miles have been driven since the restoration. This TR6 has been completely restored including a beautiful paint job, a rebuild of the original engine, a fully restored interior, and a completely rust free body and frame. This TR6 is turn key and is ready for show or go. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Dark Green exterior over Tan interior. The low “Actual” mileage is not only evident by the wonderful condition of this TR6 but also by the Ohio title branding the mileage as “Actual.”

Exterior

The Green exterior is in fantastic restored condition. This TR6 was fully taken apart prior to a repaint in Dark Green paint. The paint is in good condition and has an great shine and gloss and is smooth to the touch. The paint is looks nice and the car was disassembled prior to the repaint as is evident in the photos above. Engine was removed and the engine bay has the same level of paint as the body does. There is no evidence of rust anywhere on this car. The underside is completely rust free and the frame is in excellent condition. The underside is very clean and honest and not touched up or spray bombed with cheap spray paint. Front suspension has been restored as evident in the photos and included receipts. Rear tube shock conversion was also completed. Both bumpers are in good overall condition. The tires have excellent tread left and are sized 195/75/15 and the wheels are nicely restored originals with replacement trim rings. The Hartz cloth convertible top is in great condition and the top cover was replaced as well. All weather stripping and seals are in like new condition and have been replaced. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original spare tire and original jack tools. Both doors have “Triplex” original glass and both are in excellent shape and the windshield was replaced and like new.

Interior

The Tan interior of this TR6 is in terrific fully restored condition. The seat covers were replaced and new seat foam was installed, the covers are soft and the seats are very comfortable. The carpet was replaced and in excellent new condition and feature the snap hold downs. The door panels were replaced as well and are in like new condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. New dash top, crash pads, knobs, mirrors and dash support side panels were installed. The wood dash surround is like new and looks excellent in the car and was replaced as well. All upgrade/replacement receipts are included with the sale. The gauges are bright and crisp and all work properly and the gauge lights shine brightly in the dark. An original style stereo is located in the stock position and a modern style stereo which works and sounds great is located in the glove box and new speakers were also added. The blower motor, stereo, and wipers all work. The horn is currently not working. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. It smells and looks new inside.

Mechanical

This TR6 is in superb mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. The engine work was performed less than 1000 miles ago. The original engine has been completely rebuilt, rebuild receipts are included with the sale. A gear reduction starter, alternator, electronic ignition, spark plug wires and battery were also added or replaced. Re-manufactured SU carbs were added and they perform well. The radiator was re cored and rebuilt at a cost of $406, see receipt. We have driven this TR6 numerous times and it always performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. This TR6 is an excellent driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. The brakes have been serviced with a new master cylinder and they do not pull and stop as they should. A quick ratio steering rack assembly was also installed. The stock style exhaust looks factory and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. Also, the engine is meticulously clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The engine bay is show ready and very fresh.
