Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1975 Triumph TR6 which is beautiful overall condition with low actual miles of 72,933. This TR6 comes in rarely seen factory Delft Blue over Shadow Blue interior, which is a striking color combination. This TR6 features a nice repaint in factory Delft Blue, a beautiful fully restored interior, the original 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed transmission, and a wealth of maintenance receipts dating back to the 1970’s. Over $7000 in restoration/maintenance receipts are included in the sale of this TR6 from the last 18 months. This TR6 is extremely solid with great lines and gaps and shows no signs of visible rust on the body or anywhere on the frame and underneath. This TR6 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of Delft Blue (paint 136) over Shadow Blue (trim 27) interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag pictured below. The low actual miles is not only verified by the great all around condition of this TR6 but also by the clear Ohio title pictured below stating the miles as “Actual.”

Exterior

The Delft Blue exterior is in nice overall condition. This TR6 was repainted 19 years ago in 1998 and the overall paint condition is still very nice. The paint is in good condition throughout the car and has a shiny gloss and smooth overall touch. This car has been driven over those 19 years so there are some touch ups around the car and small blemishes here and there. It looks as good in person as it appears in the photos and videos below. There is no evidence of rust anywhere on this car or underneath. The body shows no rust at all and no bubbling paint or cracked bondo and that is saying a lot for an older paint job. The original floor pans are rust free and original primer is noticeable in the photos below. The frame is very solid and rust free as well and thankfully the underside has not been covered up by cheap spray paint. The underside is very honest and in excellent shape. The bumpers are original and in good overall condition but they have not been restored and show a few blemishes here and there. They shine nicely and look very good on the car. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have good tread left and are sized 195/75/15 and the 15×7 Konig Rewind wheels are brand new and in perfect shape with new center caps and lug nuts. The cost of these wheels are not included in the receipt total above. The convertible top works as it should and is in good overall condition. There are two small patches in the lower corners which are weather proof, see photos of areas below. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in great condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original trunk mat, original spare tire, and the original jack tools. All glass is “Triplex” original glass and in excellent shape.

Interior

The Shadow Blue interior of this TR6 is in excellent restored condition. The seat covers are in excellent condition with no major wear, seam splits, or rips or tears. These were professionally installed and are like new in every way, and new seat foam was added as well. The grey/black carpet is in excellent condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. The door panels were replaced as well and are in like new condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The dash is in great condition with no cracks or fading and the wood dash surround is in great condition as well. The Prestige dash pad was just replaced and in new condition. A new Moto Lita steering wheel was installed and looks at home in the car. The gauges are very crisp and the chrome around them are in excellent shape. The interior lights all work and are bright and crisp. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. The horn, wipers, gauges, heater and amazingly AC still works. This TR6 comes with the sought after dealer installed AC system which is still all in tact and currently blows cold air. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever. The previous owner elected not to have a stereo installed as he wanted to hear the open road. Wiring and speakers are still in place.

Mechanical

This TR6 is in exceptional mechanical condition with only 72,933 actual miles. We have driven this TR6 numerous times around town and on the highway and it always performs very well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. Previous owners of this fantastic TR6 have kept meticulous care of this car and there is a 2 inch folder full of receipts that is included with the car. The majority of the included receipts are for mechanical upgrades around the car such as: re cored radiator, new brakes, rebuilt carbs, electronic ignition, new spark plugs and wires, new exhaust, new gas sending unit, heater motor, water pump, etc, etc. etc. A tremendous amount of work was performed under the car upgrading the suspension and drive ability of the car. Polyurethane bushings were recently installed throughout the undercarriage and Goodparts adjustable trailing arm brackets were installed as well. New springs and front shocks were installed too. See photos below highlighting recent work performed on suspension. Also, new clutch components were recently installed and the clutch shifts smoothly and crisp. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs very well. This TR6 is an excellent driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs excellent. This TR6 starts quickly and holds idle within a few moments of having the choke on. In less than one minute the choke can be fully off. The brakes were recently serviced and do not pull and stop as they should. This TR6 has a stock style muffler that was recently replaced and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. Also, the engine is meticulously clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This is a dealer installed AC car and all the components appear to be in place and currently the system is blowing cold air and was recently serviced. Removed smog eq. comes with the sale of the car.
