Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this stunning 1984 El Camino SS which is in beautiful overall condition and priced to sell. This El Camino stayed in the south from new until 2018 spending most of its years with its origina owner in North Carolina then to Florida prior to coming to Ohio in 2018. This El Camino features a wonderful re paint in factory white with correct factory SS decals, a nice burgundy interior, an upgraded 350 engine, and several receipts/service records and some original dealer manuals. This El Camino is extremely solid with great lines and gaps and no visible rust anywhere on the body and no rust on the underside and no patch panels. This El Camino is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations of White over Burgundy interior. A clean car fax is included showing no accidents and mostly southern states ownership.
Exterior
The Factory White exterior is in beautiful restored stock condition. This El Camino was repainted in Factory White paint with new SS decals and looks terrific. The paint is in great overall condition and has an excellent shine, great gloss, and is smooth to the touch. The underside is very solid with no patch panels or rust issues and the body is very solid and strait with no bubbling or cracked paint. Both bumpers are in good overall condition with no dents and they both have a good shine. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have good tread left and are sized 205/75 R14 and the wheels are OEM originals and are in great overall shape and have no curb rash and sport original trim rings. The rear cargo compartment and spare tire storage area are both solid and clean and the original spare tire is still in place with the original jack. The rear tail gate works properly and the bed of this truck was also repainted and its very solid with no rust issues and the paint is very nice in the bed.
Interior
The Burgundy interior of this El Camino is in great overall condition. The seat covers were made at an upholsters shop last year and are like new and very comfortable and soft and look great in the car. The seat covers and installation work cost $1500.00. The carpet looks great with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in good overall condition but there are a few small thin cracks, see photos. The original AM/FM cassette stereo works good in this El Camino and thankfully the dash has not been cut for a modern stereo. The original door panels are in good condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. The headliner is in good overall condition. All interior lights and gauges work as they should including the clock which keeps accurate time. The horn, stereo, wipers, and blower motor all work. This El Camino has factory air conditioning and all components remain in place.
Mechanical
This El Camino is in excellent mechanical condition and the upgraded 350 engine runs very well and is a welcome upgrade to the factory 305. The engine runs strong with an upgraded mild cam and several parts receipts for the engine build come with the truck including the cam card. The engine was believed to have been rebuilt mildly by a previous owner. The distributor and wires were upgraded and an aluminum intake was added. New air filter and new fuel filter were both installed along with a new fuel pump. MT valve covers were added. We have driven this El Camino many times and it drives very well, it does not run hot, rides tight, has lots of power, and is a true joy to drive. There are no loud rattles or annoying noises. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should. Also, the engine is clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. The exhaust has been completely overhauled from exhaust manifold to exhaust tips and features true dual exhaust with two mufflers. Newer shocks were added along with new sway bar end links and several other suspension parts were replaced. This El Camino has been loved and well cared for by its previous owners and the overall condition of the truck and the way it runs and drives validates that. Its an excellent driver that would show well at local car shows and cruise inns.
