Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1980 Corvette which is in beautiful restored driver condition. This Corvette features an attractive repaint in Factory correct White, a wonderfully “Built” 350 engine and transmission, and a super nice condition Claret interior. This Corvette is very solid with great lines and gaps and shows no signs of visible rust anywhere around the car. This Corvette is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combination of White (code 10) over Claret leather interior. This is the factory color scheme as verified by the trim tag pictured below.
Exterior
The White exterior is in terrific driver condition. This Corvette was treated to a professional paint job in the factory White paint scheme and shows well. The paint is about 4 years old and in great driver condition and the frame is solid. Both bumpers are in great shape shape with no flaking or fading paint. There may be some minor imperfections that are not noticeable in the photos, but nothing was intentionally excluded from the photos. The tires have excellent tread left and are sized 255/60/15 and the wheels are OEM originals which shine nicely and have no curb rash. The t tops come on and off nicely and fit snug and do not rattle while driving. All glass is “LOF” original glass. The headlights work very well and go up and down as they should. Windshield does have a crack in the lower driver side corner.
Interior
The Claret leather interior of this Corvette is in great condition. The original seat covers are in good condition but do have some normal wear on the edges where people get in and out. The carpet is in new condition with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in great condition with no cracks or fading and the dash bezel is in great condition as well. The stereo has been upgraded to a Modern Kenwood CD/MP3 player with a custom rear speaker box with new 6×9 speakers and the dash speakers are new too. The door panels are in like new condition and both door pulls are solid and in tact. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. The stereo, wipers, power windows, and fan blower also work, the horn works intermittently. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what so ever.
Mechanical
This Corvette is in excellent mechanical condition and runs and drives extremely well. This Corvette has been “Mechanic” owned for the last 5 years and several upgrades have been made to the drive train and suspension which makes this a wonderful car to drive. The non original 350 engine has these performance upgrades and build: 4 bolt main, steel crank, bored .30 over, forged flat top pistons, sportsman II heads 64cc chambers, 2.02 valves 1.60 exhaust, 10:1 compression, Voodoo Cam with 489/504 lift, 268/276 duration, rpm range 1800-6200, performer eps edelbrock intake, holly 750 cfm vacuum secondary carb., double roller timing chain and gears, headers, turbo 350 transmission rebuilt with shift kit, and 2200-2400 stall converter 11″. This combination puts out approximately 410 HP but it very drive able and very responsive. In the video one can observe this car running and driving with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and performs well. This Corvette is an exceptional driver that feels good on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs excellent. The brakes have been completely gone through and stop extremely well and do not pull to one side or the other. Several suspension items have been upgraded as well such as rear leaf spring, end link, new shocks, U joints, etc. The exhaust has been upgraded to Magnaflow mufflers with 2.5″ pipes and headers. The rear gears have been rebuilt with 3:08 gears. Also, the engine is clean, nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This AC system is currently not working as several pieces have been removed for power gains and appearance.
