Cincy Classic Cars is proud to share this 1979 Pontiac Trans Am which is fully restored with factory T Tops and the original 403 engine. This TA was frame off restored 13 years ago and body was placed on a rotisserie and completed to a show condition level. This Trans Am features beautiful Heritage Brown Paint, Factory T-Tops, the original 403 engine, a fully restored interior, and the factory build sheet and window sticker. This TA competed at the Trans AM nationals with over 25 cars in its stock class in 2022. This exceptional TA earned a fourth place show award along side several recent frame off restored cars. Although this TA was restored several years ago it still shows fresh and does well at car shows competing against fresh restorations.

Exterior

The Heritage Brown exterior is in restored show condition. The paint was redone around 13 years ago with new decals applied at that time. The front bumper grills and front nose emblem were replaced. The paint shows very well and has a terrific gloss and shine and is smooth to the touch. The underside was fully restored as well and shows extremely well. Every piece of rubber was replaced and every nut and bolt and clip and clamp was restored or replaced. The bumpers are in excellent condition and look great on the car. The tires are brand new and have full tread left and are sized 255/60/15 and the 15×7 Snowflake wheels are brand new reproductions and center caps and lug nuts are new. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in like new condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with the original style felt trunk mat, spare tire, jack, inflator bottle, and fisher T Top bags.

Interior

The interior of this TA has been restored in Factory correct deluxe camel Tan to like new standards. The seat covers are brand new Legendary covers and are in like new show condition and are very comfortable. The carpet was replaced and is in great condition with no major stains or holes. Brand new Camel Deluxe door panels were added with new door pulls, door lock knobs, and door cups. The headliner was replaced and is not sagging at all and is the perforated correct material. The original dash is in great condition and the dash bezel is in excellent condition. All plastics were removed and cleaned and re-dyed and look like new. A new package tray was installed as were new rocker sills. An original style stereo remains in the car and sounds great with newer Pioneer speakers which sound awesome. The gauges all work properly. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. The wipers, gauges, horn, heater, power windows and stereo all work.

Mechanical

This TA is in great mechanical condition and the original 403 engine remains in the car in great running condition. The engine bay is very stock in appearance and has been maintained by loving owners over the years. We have driven this TA numerous times around town and on the highway and it always performs very well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. This TA is an excellent driver that feels great on the road and at highway speeds. It starts right away every time, idles well, and runs excellent. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should and work very well. This TA has newer exhaust with upgraded Flowmaster mufflers and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. Also, the engine is meticulously clean and nicely detailed as one can see from the photos. This is a factory NON AC car which really cleans up the engine bay and adds to performance.
