Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1979 Pontiac Trans Am which is has factory Fisher T Tops and factory Atlantis Blue paint. This TA still retains its original 403 engine with matching numbers. This Trans Am features beautiful Atlantis blue paint, the original 403 Engine coupled with a rebuilt automatic transmission, a tan cloth interior, and factory Fisher T Tops. This TA is very solid and shows no signs of rust or rust repairs and the underside is rust free with no visible patches or rust concerns.
Exterior
The Atlantis Blue exterior is in very nice overall condition. This TA was repainted in years past with new decals applied at that time. The front bumper grills and front nose emblem were replaced. The paint shows well and has a nice gloss and shine and is smooth to the touch. The underside is very honest and solid and is in great shape with no rust issues or past repairs. The bumpers are in good overall condition and look good on the car. The tires have decent tread left and are sized 235/60/15 and the 15×8 Snowflake wheels are originals. All weather stripping and window sweeps are in good overall condition. Trunk is very solid and clean with a correct felt trunk mat, spare tire, and jack. New body side moldings were added after repaint. The glass around the car is in good condition.
Interior
The interior of this TA is in good overall condition and shows well in Tan Hobnail cloth. The seat covers appear to be original covers and in good overall condition with some noticeable wear but show no rips or tears. The carpet appears original as well and is in good condition with no major stains or holes. The Camel door panels are in good condition and both door pulls are in tact. Functional door speakers have been added to both doors. The headliner was replaced and is not sagging at all. The original dash is in great overall shape and the dash bezel looks nice as well. A new package tray was installed and upgraded rear harness seat belts were added. A modern Pioneer stereo was added with new speakers which sounds awesome. The gauges all work properly outside of the non working gas gauge. All interior and exterior lights and gauges work as they should. The wipers, gauges, heater, power windows, horn, and stereo all work. This is a factory AC car and all components are installed outside of the included compressor and a few lines and brackets.
Mechanical
This TA is in good mechanical condition and this car runs and drives well. The original 403 engine still resides in the engine bay and pulls strong. The brakes were serviced with 4 new brake calipers and new hoses and pads. New suspension body mounts/bushings were added along with new sway bar end links. A New fuel pump was added with new rubber fuel lines. New radiator hoses and clamps were added. The automatic transmission was rebuilt years ago and shifts great. We have driven this TA several times around town and and it always performs well, does not run hot, rides tight, and is a true joy to drive. The brakes do not pull and stop well. This TA has Flowmaster dual exhaust and sounds great at idle and cruising speeds. Starter makes a little noise when first started but starts easily.
